Working as an integral part of MarketCast's Franchise & Content Strategy Division, the successful candidate will assist in the coordination of all data preparation & statistical aspects of MarketCast's research studies. The candidate will provide tactical support to senior staff for all their research needs, including, but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Creating cross-tabulation data tables for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Statistical analyses including factor & cluster analysis, logistic regression, correspondence & principal components analysis, and statistical testing
  • Collaborating with report writers on results of data analysis and providing insight as needed
  • Assisting with questionnaire development as needed
  • Managing innovation initiatives for the division as directed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge/Experience of survey design, data modeling and analysis
  • Have the skills and knowledge to understand programming logic related to automation
  • Able to multi-task, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under tight time constraints
  • Flexible and able to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks within very fluid situations
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in a field utilizing statistics, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent work experience (1-2 years)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to organize and prioritize several tasks and keep documentation of ad-hoc requests

Software Skills:

  • Experience using a statistical package such as SPSS
  • Programming knowledge in a major programming language
  • Experience using IBM Dimensions Survey Research Platform a plus
  • MS Excel skills required with VBA macro writing experience/knowledge a plus
